Well I'm in North Carolina! 

It has been a hard couple of days but I am here and I love teaching!! The members are so so kind and North Carolina is beautiful and green and a nice 80 degrees. I can already tell that summer is going to be HOT and HUMID. The street signs are like small-town fairytale names. And don't worry I am speaking Spanish. Well trying to speak Spanish. 

My companion (Elizabeth Tolman) is so so sweet, she is just out of training so we are learning together! She's amazing. 

Nothing else too crazy happened, but I almost fell asleep in church bc it's all in Spanish and I don't know what's happening, so I bore my testimony to get my heart racing.

 Last night I was able to hear Elder Quinten L. Cook speak and had the wonderful opportunity to hear his testimony. I don't know how each devotional keeps getting better. This is a close but not 100% accurate quote of his testimony:

"As an apostle, I humbly bear my witness to you, with all my heart, that I know my Savior's voice and I know my Savior's face, I am a sure witness of the divinity of Jesus Christ. I'm a sure witness he live and guides our church in this day. We have to great privilege of teaching during this time.

"You will come to understand as you serve the Savior you will bless everyone you know in this world. Everyone that you love. Because you are serving as ______ of Jesus Christ."

The room was so quite when he bore his testimony.

 ¡Hola! What a crazy week! 

On the day I was to go the Provo MTC we happened to get the most windy snowstorm to leave our house in Suncrest snowed in until 6 at night. This hasn't happened in the 10 years of living in this home. I was supposed to be at the MTC at 12pm and got there at 9 at night! But I was able to spend another day with my family which was much needed. I went sledding and played board games and WON ALL OF THEM!!! but it was a really fun day.

The MTC has AMAZING food! So good, I have eaten a bagle every breakfast. But I don't wanna get to into it.

I have 2 three hour classes a day (all in Español)and devotionals and studies and gym time. Days are busy but so so good. 

My district is amazing I love them all so much. The 7 girls have taken a motherly role over the 3 elders. 

I sang in choir with Hermana Storm!! And we were able to listen to Predident Ballard speak!
