Let your light so shine🀍

I was able to see the Lords hand so often this week. How we were led and guided to talk to certain people when they were ready. Yesterday we went to a return appointment that we got the week prior and they didn't end up being home but while we were there a car playing Spanish music drove by and parked at the house right next door. We quickly go over (there are not many Spanish folk in these parts-so, we get excited) and go talk with them and they were so willing and ready to hear a message about Jesus Christ and they were interested in going to church! But we found out that they live in Boone. And they just happened to be in Lenoir at that exact time that we were at this house. The Lord truly is in the details.

I went on exchanges with a Sister, and the first place we go we go knock on a formerly interested person that hasn't ever been taught, but there were a few contacts with her. No one answers the door so we knock on the neighbors' and we are walking back to the car when we see a woman from the first house outside and calling us over! We go over and she knew that we had been sent by the Lord. Her husband has been in the hospital and she has been with him but happened to be home then. She has been struggling with so much loss in her life. But she readily accepted the Book of Mormon and was so excited to learn more and have her own copy. It was answers to my fervent prayers to find those who will accept the restored gospel with an open heart and mind.

As a mission, our mission president has invited us to study the atonement using some talks and scriptures that have been put together. I have barely touched the surface of the words said in these talks about what the Atonement of Jesus Christ is, and my testimony has been beaming to share the light of Jesus Christ. I would love to invite you to join us in this study as we prepare to remember what the Savior of the world did for us this beautiful easter season.

Back in Lenoir!!

It's been a minute and there have been some changes!! I moved back to Lenoir ( I was here about 5 months ago) and I am serving with Hermana Wilkinson!! She is super cute, we are having so much fun already. I have loved seeing all of the members I already know and love. But I am back in a Spanish area!! Which has been really fun.

It was sad to leave my last ward I loved the people in that ward and we had some solid friends that we were teaching, but it'll be good. But I don't believe I have told yall about the crazy miracle that happened in my last area! There was one Sunday that we woke up and saw that someone had put in a request to come to church, so we call him and he told us that he was from Liberia and was going to the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints there! So we find him a ride to come to church. And he comes and loves it! We started talking with him and found out he was going to get baptized back in Liberia but wasn't able to because he had to move to the United States. We were like, no way! Is baptism still something you are interested in? And he said yes!! So we invited him to be baptized the same day that we met him! It was crazy!! He called us when he got home and told us he made it safely and said that he was happy to finally find his family again. We met with him multiple time a week and we're helping in his personal covenant journey :) It was amazing to be part of his journey. He hasn't been baptized yet but he is so excited to be baptized.

I love y'all!! Has anything new stood out to you reading the Book of Mormon this year?
