Location was announced for the Charlotte, NC temple!!! It is 20 minutes from my apartment!! So amazing the members here are so blessed and prayer WORKS!

As we were getting ready to leave our apartment my companion had a feeling to visit this friend we are teaching named Abdi and asked me if she had a Book of Mormon, she did, so I said yes. We get ready to go but it is the last day of the month and we are trying to save on miles. (We are given a certain amount each month so we can better plan in our area, not use the car when we dont have to, etc.) So, this is the first time I would be riding a bike on my mission. To say the least, I was not stoked. But, it needed to be done. We rode over and walked up to the apartment complex where Abdi lives. 2 people were walking out to their car and we waved, as missionaries do. We wanted to knock some doors as well as our friends apartment. We went to knock on a door and these people we had passed were staring at us with a confused look on their face. We were knocking on their door! So, we went and talked to them for a little bit and, drumroll please, we are going to come back and teach them another time! After this, we walk back to the apartment complex to knock on our friend Abdi's door(2nd floor), we knock 3 times and no one answers. At this point a woman is coming home from work and my companion asks if we should go talk to her, I felt the need to go upstairs first, before we went to talk to her. So we go up and knock on one door and this lady yells through the door, "Who is it?" (In spanish) I yell back, "We're the missionaries of Jesus Christ!" "Who?" "The missionaries of the church of Jesus Christ!" And she opens the door, Come in, come in!

She had been praying to feel the holy ghost more in her life and said thats why you're here and I let you in! She had so many questions, and she knows how to talk! But she wanted a book of Mormon to read and has so much faith in God! We didn't have a book on us but we said we'd bring one the next time we came over.

It was wonderful to see the revelation we received come into fruition so quickly. God led us straight to her and we are so excited to teach her again!
